Born in Sofia (Bulgaria), Vera Nikolova studied music in Italy, where
she won her first prizes in piano and singing at the National Music
Conservatory of Venice. She has worked with Giorgio Favaretto, Rodolfo
Celletti, Tito Gobbi and Elisabeth Schwarzkopf. She has performed
Vivaldi, Purcell, Rossini, Verdi, Prokofiev and Mozart. Critics have
hailed her sensitivity, perfect vocal mastery and great interpretation
